齊禾設計與香港製錶品牌 INFANTRY 攜手打造 ModuLab——一支「可以被設計」的兒童手錶。透過模組化結構與可書寫錶面,把「設計你的時間」從一句標語,變成孩子每天都能動手參與的創作過程。
CHIHE Design partnered with Hong Kong watchmaker INFANTRY to create ModuLab — a children's watch designed to be designed. Through modular construction and a writable dial, "Design Your Time" becomes something children shape with their own hands, every day.
品牌理念｜Brand Philosophy
市面上的兒童手錶多半是「大人設計好、孩子被動配戴」的產品。ModuLab 想翻轉這個邏輯:錶殼、錶帶、錶面都可以拆換,孩子可以自己畫、自己選、自己組裝,手錶因此不再只是報時工具,而是一個孩子每天都在「重新設計」的隨身物件。可書寫錶面更進一步,讓父母能留言給孩子、孩子能回畫給父母,手錶成為傳遞情感與記憶的媒介。
Most children's watches are designed by adults for children to passively wear. ModuLab flips this: case, strap, and dial are all interchangeable, letting children draw, choose, and assemble their own. The watch becomes something a child redesigns every day — not just a timekeeping tool. A writable dial lets parents and children exchange messages, turning the watch into a medium for connection.
設計理念｜Design Philosophy
整體設計的核心命題是「徒手可拆」。齊禾設計與 INFANTRY 的工程團隊合作,發展出限位凹槽 + 導向槽 + U 型卡扣的結構系統,讓錶殼、錶帶、錶面、機芯都能不靠工具、單手完成拆換。這個決定背後是一個很單純的設計邏輯:如果孩子能自己動手改變它,他們就會更珍惜它、更願意長期使用它——設計因此不只是造型問題,而是行為與情感的設計。
The core design challenge was "tool-free disassembly." Working with INFANTRY's engineering team, CHIHE Design developed a locking-groove, guide-channel, and U-clip system that lets case, strap, dial, and movement be swapped by hand, one-handed. The logic is simple: if children can change it themselves, they'll value it more and keep using it longer — design here is not just about form, but about behavior and emotional attachment.

ModuLab 與國際兒童畫具品牌 Crayola 合作,包裝內附專用畫筆與可拆換錶面／錶帶配件,讓「設計你的時間」從概念延伸為孩子真正動手參與的創作過程——每一次打開盒子,都是一次新的設計練習。

以回收 HDPE(0.5–0.8 kg CO2e/kg)取代傳統手錶常用的不鏽鋼(6.15 kg CO2e/kg)作為錶殼與模組材料,材料階段碳排減少約 87–92%;而「徒手可拆」的設計本身,也是一種減碳設計——模組化延壽,預估可使年均碳排再減少 30–60%(WRAP 研究)。
Substituting stainless steel (6.15 kg CO2e/kg) with certified recycled HDPE (0.5–0.8 kg CO2e/kg) achieves an 87–92% material-phase carbon reduction. The tool-free modular design is itself a carbon-reduction strategy — extending product life to cut average annual carbon impact by an estimated 30–60% (WRAP research).

A Scalable Blueprint Beyond Timepieces
對應 SDG 4（優質教育）、SDG 12（負責任的消費與生產）、SDG 14（水下生命）與 SDG 17（夥伴關係），ModuLab 建立了一個可複製的循環模型——凡海洋塑膠收集能力與循環設計容量並存之處，這套模式都能落地，並可延伸至玩具、配件與教育產品等更多品類。
Aligned with SDG 4, 12, 14, and 17, ModuLab establishes a scalable blueprint for transforming marine debris into daily-use products — one that can be replicated globally across toys, accessories, and educational tools.
